David and Danielle were very prompt, professional and friendly. This is the result of the cap placement on my chimney. I definitely going to use them for future work. They came fast and did what they say they going to do.

If there is one way to describe Chimcrew it is their customer service. After speaking with several companies, they were the only ones who offered a marble crown option. The quality of the work is exceptional, and you can tell they truly care about their customers. Highly recommend!

David came for an inspection and told us we needed a full chimney sweep. Honestly, I hadn't really thought about it since I moved in 6 years ago. If you used your fireplace, it needs to be cleaned every year, no exceptions. Look at all that! It is a fire hazard. I had no idea just how much soot was staying in my chimney. David was nice, professional and did a great job. I highly recommend using Chimcrew for all your chimney and fireplace needs!

David and Eli service our chimney by replacing the crown, installing a new damper/chimney cap, sealing cracks repairing grout lines of some of the outside bricks. Great communication and always on time. Super pleased with their work and highly recommend to others.

Meet ChimCrew
Your Local Chimney Professionals
ChimCrew is a local Ohio chimney company built around one idea: homeowners deserve straight answers about their chimney. We're based in the Dayton area, and the same technicians who sweep your chimney are the ones who inspect it and explain what they found.
Chimney work is all we do. That focus means our crews know what a healthy flue, crown and firebox should look like — and they recognize the early signs of trouble before it turns into a costly repair. When something does need attention, we handle repairs and masonry work too, so you're not left calling around for another contractor.

Frequently Asked Questions
Chimney Sweep Questions
How much does chimney sweeping cost?
Chimney sweeping with ChimCrew starts at $79. Final pricing depends on the chimney and the specific service needed.
How often should I have my chimney cleaned?
Most homeowners who use their fireplace regularly have the chimney swept once a year. If you burn less often, an annual inspection still helps catch buildup and damage early.
What happens during a chimney sweep?
We check the accessible chimney and fireplace areas, clean the chimney based on its condition, visually inspect for damage, and then explain what we found and what options you have.
How long does a chimney sweep take?
A standard sweep typically takes about an hour. Chimneys with heavier buildup or additional access needs can take longer, and we'll let you know before we start.
Can you inspect my chimney while you're there?
Yes. A visual inspection of the accessible areas is part of every sweep, and we can perform a more detailed inspection if you'd like one.
Do you also repair chimneys?
We do. ChimCrew handles chimney repairs and masonry work including crowns, caps, flashing, leaks, and deteriorated brick and mortar.
What areas around Dayton do you service?
We serve Dayton, Kettering, Oakwood, Centerville, Beavercreek, Bellbrook, Springboro and the surrounding Ohio communities.
How do I schedule an appointment?
